Ibrahim is a Counsel focusing mostly on energy and infrastructure projects, banking and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate and commercial matters.

​

He has experience in advising on energy and infrastructure projects, where the regulatory characteristics and project finance aspects of deals are widely considered. He has extensively advised companies in energy sector in their licensing and share transfer issues from a regulatory perspective.

​

Ibrahim's experience also includes drafting of financing and security documents and legal opinions for secured and unsecured cross-border loan transactions. He has worked in many financing deals together with their post-closing amendments, restructurings, prepayments and repayments.

​

He has been engaged in various corporate and commercial matters including due diligence exercises in mergers and acquisitions and incorporation of Turkish entities and their general corporate housekeeping. He has advised his clients in relation to real estate, insurance and employment matters.

​

Before joining Durukan+Partners, Ibrahim worked in one of the recognised law firms in Turkey for more than six years.
